1. F1 2020 for Windows
Create your own F1 Team for the first time
Adding to the wide range of series collection of one of the most renowned racing games in the world, F1 2020 was released by its founding developer, Codemasters. The huge revolution in this installment is it just doesn’t allow you to simply be a car racer driver like it did in previous F1 versions but it offers a more in-depth driver-manager dynamic through My Team mode—which enables you to follow in the footsteps of Bruce McLaren and Jack Brabham—renowned Formula One car racing driver and manager.
My Team mode increases engagement
What sets My Team mode apart from past F1 career modes is that allows you to go on the depths of driver-manager dynamic and build a brand new team that effectively becomes the 11th team within the F1 championship. Under this game mode, you’ll be able to personally customize your 10-year career mode by choosing team colors, assembling a logo, signing a power unit, securing sponsors, and contracting a driver-partner.
You can also watch your finances as you attempt to grow your organization into a team that can go up against the established powerhouses. This game mode allows you to create and choose your driver out of the 48 heads that they offer—seven of these options being female. Once you’ve decided, you’ll be able to start creating your team.
You can also choose your season length, plan your training weeks, improve your team’s car, coach teammates, and so forth. You can even pick the level of difficulty you prefer to experience and before you begin fiddling with your setup, you will be trained in the art of diplomacy and slated into the first of many interviews—something that really makes the F1 experience more authentic.
Best among the rest
The return of split-screen racing hugely added to the reason why this game version is the best among its predecessors. It provides a new steering assist and a more accessible racing experience that you can definitely enjoy along with your friends and family. Moreover, its endless suite of options available that can be tailored based on your preferences makes this game much easier to pick up and play than the previous releases.
You will immediately feel like you are a professional driver even in just a minute of playing this racing game, as its user interface looks smart and serious. F1 2020 takes on a televised program vibe wherein you’ll feel like you are at the heart of the action—even when you’re not on the track. On top of that, the driving experience that this car racing game presents is unparalleled that you will really sense the touch of wind in your face whenever you are in the race.
Most engaging and comprehensive F1 series
It can be considerably said that F1 2020 is the most in-depth, accessible, and engaging F1 game series so far in its history. It is very evident with the game modes, features, and performance that this installment exhibits. Furthermore, no serious issues can also be addressed with version—if there is, it’s only minimal and can easily be passed, especially with the notable driving and team management experience that it can provide.

2. Hot Wheels Unleashed for Windows
Arcade racing game
The well-loved die-cast car toys are back to the digital race track with Hot Wheels Unleashed. Created by Milestone, the leader in motocross simulation, this game will have you experience a thrilling arcade racing game. Here, you can collect the best Hot Wheels, build spectacular tracks, and take part in breathtaking races.
Hot Wheels Unleashed offers all the ways you can play with your collection. You can play solo or play with other players through the online mode and co-op multiplayer mode. Unlike other car racing games, however, there is not much going on in this racing title.
What can you expect from this game?
Hot Wheels Unleashed is a video game that allows you to turn your hobby of collecting toy cars into a digital platform. In this game, the iconic and sought-after Hot Wheel vehicles are waiting for you. Not only can you collect them, but you can also play in races without covering your home with plastic. Not to mention, you don't have to dismantle them after playing.
The game offers a single-player mode, an online mode, and co-op multiplayer mode. You can play solo, with your siblings in the same room, or with players across the globe. Although, aside from the competition, the game does not offer that much challenge. The tracks are winding, but they lack environmental hazards and obstacles you need to overcome. On top of that, there are few power-ups to contend with.
Despite that, the racing looks weighty. Moreover, the caliber of controls is second to none. The handling is very responsive, allowing you to race without difficulty. Moreover, while it is an arcade game, there are many layers to taking each race. It is also worth noting how good the visuals look. The cars look fantastic, and the tracks resemble the real-life plastic courses that collectors assemble.
Is the game good?
Hot Wheels Unleashed is a game that fans of the toy brand would love to play. In this game, you can have fun collecting and racing using your computer. It also offers three game modes, allowing you to play alone or with other players. Moreover, it captures the distinct look of the Hot Wheel vehicles and the tracks. Overall, it blends the physical and video game excellently.

3. Forza Horizon 5 for Windows
A thrilling open-world arcade racer
Forza Horizon is the fifth installment in an open-world racing game series and is exclusive to PCs and Xbox. Forza Horizon 5 continues the series tradition of including hundreds of cars, boat-loads of customization options, and an expansive world to explore.
This time the action takes place in a fictionalized version of Mexico. Not only do you get to race on country roads, winding through scenic hills and farmlands, but there are city streets and coastal roads to explore too. The most significant addition is dynamic weather and seasons, making an already beautiful game even more jaw-dropping. It shares some similarities with Forza Horizon 4 but improves on so many at the same time.
Where is Forza Horizon 5 set?
The Forza Horizon series is well known for its open-world environment. This time the map is based in Mexico, and it’s a big one, at 50% larger than the previous games. It contains all sorts of diverse environments like jungles, beaches, ancient Mayan temples, small towns, big cities, and even active volcanoes! It's beautiful to look at and fun when exploring because you never know what kind of adventure will be waiting down the road.
Forza Horizon 5 gameplay
Forza Horizon 5 includes many elements common among games of this genre. Players take the role of a racer to gain popularity and wealth by winning races and performing stunts. Performing these stunts earns players followers which is vital if you want to become the top Horizon Festival driver. These races and stunts include everything from drift challenges to high-stakes street races, and as always, there's a huge garage full of unique licensed cars to collect and tune.
You can customize cars before a race at each driver's home garage or while out on the road. Each part of the car is upgradable for speed, acceleration, handling, and durability. In addition, you can upgrade the body with spoilers and decals to improve aerodynamics (and aesthetics). There are even paint options for rims and brake calipers. Further customization can be added by changing up your horn, adding flair to your wheels, and more.
The most exciting new feature is the seasons and weather system. With this, players will see changes in time of day and weather all dynamically around them as they play. One moment you could be driving through a sunny spring day but suddenly find yourself surrounded by rain and fog on a later race, or even driving straight into a giant sandstorm. The seasons cycle through spring, summer, fall, and winter, each bringing its own beauty to the game world.
What game modes does Forza Horizon 5 have?
The game features several game modes, like Forza Horizon games always do. There's the classic free-roam mode, where you can explore at your own pace. You can also choose to participate in specific events that are waiting around the map. These could be races, stunt challenges, or something else to advance your popularity.
Other game modes include Showcase Events which allow you to compete in incredibly unique racing experiences like chasing down train robbers across the desert or racing against a steam engine for glory. The Bucket List offers similar extreme challenges that give players a taste of the world. The more dangerous and demanding the Bucket List is, the more rewarding the prize.
How many cars are there?
With over 500 cars, you won't have trouble finding the perfect car to fit your style. Each car is unique and can be customized down to the finest detail. From exotic high-end vehicles to vintage classics, there are options for everyone. Many of these cars are available straight away, but others must be found or unlocked through the game.
What are the system requirements to play?
Forza Horizon 5 Windows PC requires at least an Intel i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 CPU, 8GB RAM, and NVidia GTX 970 OR AMD RX 470 graphics card. You'll also need at least 110 GB of storage space available.
Taking Forza to the next level
Forza Horizon 5 is a thrilling open-world arcade racer. With over 500 cars, dynamic weather and seasons, and an expansive world to explore, Forza Horizon 5 gives players everything they could want in this genre.
Forza Horizon has never looked or played better than in this latest installment with all these elements combined. This is a solid game for anyone who loves racing games and wants an open world to drive in. Combined with the seasons and weather elements, Forza Horizon 5 is truly a magnificent open-world arcade racer.

4. Fly Dangerous for Windows
Free flight simulator game
Fly Dangerous is a fan-made flight simulator racing game that lets you create your own custom tracks and terrain, and share them with other players. The game is developed by Juki, who created the game based on the flight mechanics and flight model from the racing game, Elite Dangerous: Odyssey.
In its first stages in development, the game was only supposed to be a companion simulator that will help players get comfortable with the flight mechanics of Elite Dangerous: Odyssey. However, with growing demand, it grew to become an independent racing game with features made based on community requests.
Fly in infinite terrain
Fly Dangerous is a great game to practice flight simulations because of its close to realistic design. On top of that, it has VR support that gives you a more immersive flight experience. However, the best part about the simulator is its customizability. It gives its players so much freedom since they can take the limiters off, and do more things with the physics and go more advanced.
You can use the game if you want racing and to hoon, and pair it up with infrastructure and gameplay of games like Track Mania. Meanwhile, you can also customize your ship, flight sticks, and your own flight mechanics and share them with other players. After that, it all gets seeded in an infinite terrain, so you can pretty much do whatever you want in a free-play flight.
The race tracks, however, are quite short. Plus, it takes you back to the starting point if you fail. However, one great feature about the game is its boost charge mechanics that prevent players from using boosts in succession. This requires players to make strategic decisions on when to use their boosters to win the race. You can also use boosters one second before the countdown timer starts.
Highly immersive and customizable
To top everything off, the customizability of Fly Dangerous easily makes it one of the best free flight simulation games. From customizing your terrain to your ship, flight mechanics, physics, and flight stick, the game gives you so much freedom. Best of all, you can share your work with other players. Unfortunately, the races are quite short, so it also ends quickly. Still, that won’t rob you of fun.

The game will also deliver four new rallies that will feature over 20 of the most well-known rally cars from popular manufacturers. Meanwhile, the career mode also sees additional features, including a new livery editor and a team creator. With this, players can outfit their cars and apply their colors as they please. They can also create their team and race alongside the 52 official teams of the 2021 season.
Training mode, local challenges, and test areas will also return to help players sharpen their skills before participating in any rally. There are even new shakedown stages to test their vehicle set up without running a full-length stage. WRC 10 also brings over the clubs, online lobbies, and co-driver co-op mode from its predecessors, allowing them to complete daily and weekly challenges online or locally via split-screen.
Should you download it?
Overall, WRC 10 FIA World Rally Championship is a game worth picking up. The game brings everything that players loved from the previous titles and offers numerous brand-new content for you to enjoy. Moreover, die-hard fans will notice several gameplay improvements, as well as an enhanced look and feel of each course. If you are a fan of the game series and the racing competition, this title will not disappoint.

6. Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition for Windows
Ultimate horse racing experience
Rival Stars Horse Racing is a racing game created by PikPok. The desktop version follows the launch of Rival Stars Horse Racing on mobile as well as the console version of the same game (sold under the name of Phar Lap Horse Racing Challenge). The game starts with an exceptionally tender opening cutscene that acquaints you with your family's nameless ranch and pony hustling business.
Become a champion equestrian
The game starts with a quiet introduction that acquaints you with your family's ranch and horse breeding business that fell into dilapidation after a fatal mishap on the track. You meet your coach Francis Kwan, horse mentor Trenton James, and stable director Sophie Martin, the characters who will work as your aides and mission suppliers all throughout your session. After the voiced and vivified cutscene, the story falls into the state of text boxes and character pictures.
With the story rapidly being set aside to make way for the gameplay itself. With some basic quests and brilliantly stamped catches to squeeze, you rapidly click your way through the game's essential mechanics: dashing, preparing, rearing, extending. The pony dashing is a completely three-dimensional experience as it has its own controls and difficulties. All other controls can be found on your screen.
The pacing of the game is fast; you will be able to upgrade and level up your horse in a few (real-world) minutes. Ponies look totally strong, in their pens, on the circuit, and in the field that makes up the primary menu. The core of the game is the races: each race track that you open as you progress has its own decent introduction arrangement and races have various lengths and terrains.
Anything but horseplay
Generally, Rival Stars has dealt with its change from mobile to desktop game well. It offers a fair number of design settings. Horse games that mainly focuses on single-player content, polished appearances, and pony models and animations are so amazingly uncommon that Rival Stars totally stands apart as one of the top encounters in the horse gaming genre.

7. F1 2021 for Windows
New F1 racing game
F1® 2021 is the official video game of the 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship. Dubbed as the next-generation racing experience, this game comes packed with content, a brand-new story mode, and an expanded career mode. It even comes with drivers and circuits for this year's F1 championship. Additionally, this version allows you to play with or against a friend.
Some of the well-loved features of the previous F1 title will also be returning, including the driver-manager mode, My Team. The two-player split-screen option is also returning, as will the shorter season option for both F1 and F2.
What can you expect from F1® 2021?
One of the things that fans of this car racing game are the new story mode, Braking Point. In this mode, you will race to rise from the ranks of Formula 2 to get a shot at stardom in the world of Formula 1. It will also re-introduce controversial player Devon Butler, who will return to the real-world race. Be warned, though. He will be a rival to your character.
Fans of the F1's career mode will also be pleased to hear that this has been expanded. It now comes with a new two-player option, allowing you to play with a friend online. Alternatively, you can choose a different team and take your rivalry to the tracks. It will also introduce Real-Season Start, enabling you to begin at any point in the season with real-time driver and constructor standing.
As noted, the driver-manager experience introduced in the previous F1 title will return. You can still create your driver, manage their career, and compete as the 11th team on the grid. Split-screen racing will also be available. With this, you can still have the steering assist and an endless suite of options that you can tailor based on your racing preference.
The best version by far
With all the innovations added to the game, it is safe to say that F1® 2021 is the best version of the franchise. The game takes F1 racing to a whole new level with its new story mode and expanded career mode. Not only that, but it also includes the features from the previous game that fans have come to love. Its next-generation Formula One game title is surely apt.

8. MotoGP™20 for Windows
Premier class motorcycle racing game
MotoGP™20, the newest title in the popular racing franchise MotoGP™. This game brings back the high-speed, thrilling races with even more realistic graphics, improved gameplay, and a complete managerial career mode. Not only that, but it will also take you to a new, ice-covered track in Finland. Like its predecessors, MotoGP™20 offers a rewarding and genuinely playable experience. However, bike novices will struggle in this very realistic racing simulator.
A mix of good and bad
At its core, the structure of MotoGP™20 remains familiar and very much true-to-life. Players will have a single-player career mode that will allow them to play through the package to become the MotoGP World Champion. In the new career mode, you will have a complete entourage ready to support you on your path to becoming the best racer. You will have the option to join a 2020 season team and race with the official riders. Or you can become a member of a brand new team and make a name for yourself. The game also comes with dedicated servers that let you challenge your friends online. With this, you can race with them in different modes. You can create a customizable lobby or use one of the pre-provided ones. More, you can also create a private lobby just for you and your pals.
The MotoGP™20 also boasts impeccable graphics. Even the 3D models of the riders and the face scans of the team managers are very realistic that you will feel more immersed in the MotoGP™ world. As noted, the game utilizes a deep Forza Horizon 4-style customization suite of five different graphics editor that lets you customize your rider and bike. You can combine sponsors, colors, and materials for your bike so you can ride in style.
However, while the game seemed promising, some drawbacks require your consideration. As noted, beginners will have a hard time winning races right away. More than the lack of training, the braking feels like a death sentence. AI competitors are also incredibly aggressive and reckless. Luckily, the game has a Forza-esque rewind feature, which reverts you to a point far back. With this, you can dig yourself out of the pinch. Furthermore, the excellent graphics will have to take a step back if you wish to play at a higher frame rate. The visuals will take a hit and starts to look rough when the frame rate priority is on.
The finish line
MotoGP™20 is far from perfect. The game has an uneven career, seemingly suicidal AI, and lacks tutorial. More, its multiplayer mode does not have matchmaking or a larger league structure. However, while it has some rough edges, it does a lot of things very well. It plays well and will provide you with hours of enjoyment. All in all, despite its issues, the game has captured the daunting difficulty of bike racing and translated it to the virtual world admirably.

10. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered for Windows
A decade thrill of chase and rush
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is a racing game published under the leading publishing game company, Electronic Arts. as part of its Need For Speed game franchise. Developed by Stellar Entertainment Limited, it’s a tenth-anniversary re-release of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) that contains all of its previously released updates and downloadable content, as well as visual enhancements and cross-play support. On your Windows 10 and Windows 11 device, you will feel all the exciting thrills of the chase and the stimulating rush of the escape.
Is NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered good?
Need for Speed (NFS) Hot Pursuit Remastered brings you back to one of the most successful modern Need for Speed formulas to date. However, the remastered elements in the game somehow fall short. The gameplay is as good as ever because it still gives off the same grand NFS experience that you have experienced in its original game. You are free to choose your character in every event—a racer or part of the Seacrest County police department. Each side works hard to gain weapons that each of them could use to be on the upper hand. Whether you’re a racer or a cop, you will have EMP blasts that could injure opponents and destroy communications, and you will also share spike strips.
You will roam around a diverse map that could make you feel nostalgic for the original NFS tracks. Just like in its previous NFS HP version, you will experience some coastal love, deserts, deeply wooded areas, and snow that is typical to see in a fictional area of Seacrest County. Moreover, they also brought back the autolog feature here wherein you can track your friends’ every step and fuel competition. But, frankly, the only thing that was significantly added here is the cross-platform play support as you can compete now with anyone and not just friends who share a copy of the PC, Xbox, or PlayStation version.
The ambient light it added looks splendid, and the textures are more refined as compared to the past, mainly because it now provides a 4K support and 60 frames per second. However, it is still not enough to be considered as a remastered game as it did not change much from its predecessor, specifically gameplay-wise. It is quite a disappointment as the developers left a lot on the table. Honestly, if you have experienced Seacrest County in the past, you will not miss much with this remastered version.
Too lacking to be considered as remastered
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered successfully maintained the same feels of exciting thrill and stimulating rush. It also offers the exact grand NFS experience that you loved in its previous version. However, for it to be considered a great remastered version, this lacks more enhanced and improved elements.
